Foxtons is a major real estate agency in the UK with 35 offices in London and with a turnover of 1400 real estate managed monthly. Foxtons chose to assign 900 employees to a Nokia Lumia 820, considering it suitable for the business. Another important achievement for Nokia, on several occasions in recent months has aimed to reach not only the consumer audience, but also corporate users. 

Verizon getting High-End Nokia Lumia Smartphone Codenamed "Laser"

It seems Verizon will be stocking this year high-end Nokia Lumia smartphone codenamed "Laser" according to the TheVerge Verizon's sources. The Nokia smartphone will be a variant of the Lumia 920 that's set to debut alongside to another Nokia devices named "Catwalk".

Nokia Drive + Beta is Now Available to All Windows Phone 8 devices in US, Canada & UK

Nokia had announced some time ago that its Lumia exclusive Nokia Drive + application, will become available for all Windows Phone 8 users.

Now  the beta version of Nokia Drive + has become available as a free download for all devices based on Windows Phone 8. At the moment this possibility is limited to users who reside in the USA, Canada and UK. 

Nokia to produce 4.7" inch smartphones, but no 5" smartphone in 2013

The race to achieve the smartphone with the larger display has long history in the Android World. And currently is holding  market leadership from this point of view with devices that are starting to use more and more 5" + displays. Nokia, according to recent rumors, could market it's first smartphone with 4.7 " display in 2013.

Firmware update PR 1.1 now live in the U.S. and Canada, the rest will have to wait till February 2013!

Nokia has officially announced the start of the deployment of PR 1.1 for the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. This is an update that was already spotted at NaviFirm and that has begun to roll out the update for the Nokia Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

It seems that Windows Phone 7.8 update is even closer to be released, at least for the Nokia Windows Phone smartphones from the first generation. The devices in question are the Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 610 and Nokia Lumia 510.

The firmware version 1750.823.8858.12460, which is the much expected Windows Phone 7.8 update, makes its appearance on the Nokia servers.

According to the Yahoo China sources it seems that Nokia Lumia 920 is doing extremely good, since  in the last 20 days the number of pre-orders of the WP8 smartphone would amount to more than 2.5 million. A figure which, if true, would confirm the actual success of the device which still continues to record the sold-out many markets worldwide.

Nokia expands distribution and active pre-orders in Brazil for the Nokia Lumia 900 and Nokia 808 PureView

Rumor - Nokia will introduce two new WP 8 smartphones on September 5th

The rumors on the official presentation of next Lumia smartphone based on Windows Phone 8 are becoming more intense. The last rumor is that Nokia will show two new WP smartphones on September 5th.

Nokia completes acquisition of developers, technologies and intellectual property from Scalado

Nokia announced this morning that you have completed the acquisition of Scalado announced in June. The technology, intellectual property of major innovations in the imaging software and about fifty specialists who worked in this area will be transferred to Nokia Scalado. The Finnish manufacturer, then, having set new standards in the camera phone with the Nokia 808 PureView, may have significant resources to invest in the further improvement of the cameras of its smartphones.

Speculation - Nokia will start negotiations with European carriers for the launch of the exclusive Lumia WP8 devices

Nokia publishes financial results for the 2nd quarter of 2012,with first signs of a turnaround and 4 million sold Lumia devices
