It seems Verizon will be stocking this year high-end Nokia Lumia smartphone codenamed "Laser" according to the TheVerge Verizon's sources. The Nokia smartphone will be a variant of the Lumia 920 that's set to debut alongside to another Nokia devices named "Catwalk".
The financial results of Nokia in the last quarter of 2012, showed growth in the U.S. market. Compared to the same period of the previous Lumia deliveries in North America increased by 40%. Plausible to assume that the Finnish company wants to further expand the installed base using its partnership with Verizon and pointing to a new model range top.

Regarding the technical specifications of the Nokia Laser, the new Verizon Nokia smartphone could be a variant of the Lumia 920, which was first introduced in the U.S. by Nokia in collaboration with AT & T. Recall that Verizon has already started distributing the Lumia 822, a variant of the Lumia 820. A similar operation could be carried out in relation to the top-range Lumia 920.
As reported by recent rumors, the launch of the new flagship smartphone for Verizon will be accompanied by massive marketing campaign that will be supported by Microsoft.
