The Windows Phone marketplace exceeds 100,000 applications!

Another important goal for  Windows Phone marketplace has been reached today, according to a scan performed by  AAWP , the number of applications / games published in Windows Phone marketplace passed the 100,000 mark.

Over 100,000 apps have been published in the Windows Phone marketplace, more precise 100,145 apps in total. Of these, 26,493 were added in the last three months.

This refers to the total number of different applications in the world, without including the number of apps removed and those available for the individual state.

This milestone was achieved during the past 20 months, then more quickly than they did from Android (which has reached the 100,000 apps in 24 months), but more slowly than IOS has achieved this milestone in 16 months. Developers who have published are 23,825 applications on the marketplace, with a percentage of app quality (average 5 stars) stable at 5% to 12% in the UK and the USA

The following two charts show the percentage of the app divided into the categories available and percentage for paid, free, paid with trial apps
