An anonymous source, but reliably defined by the editors of CNET, which has reveal that Barnes & Noble is preparing a surprise to its the eternal rivals Amazon, a company with which it shares the scepter for the marketing of eReader in the U.S. (unfortunately only Amazon has an efficient international circuit). The Nook Tablet is however in direct competition with the Kindle Fire, surely the most noble and bought because of a few dollars less on the final cost.

Microsoft announced a partnership with Barnes & Noble, ebook content coming to Windows Phone?
Like a bolt from the blue Microsoft has announced a partnership worth 300 million dollars with Barnes &Nobles, a partnership that will allow Microsoft to leverage the content ebo0k offered by B & N directly on their platforms, Windows 8 and Windows Phone.
The agreement is to establish a new subsidiary called Newco, which B & N will have a control of 82.4% and will manage relationships with retail stores while Microsoft is committed to an investment of 300 million dollars and will have the control of 17.6% of this company, based on an overall assessment of well-$ 1.7 billion.

Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet 8GB officially available for $199
Barnes & Noble has announced the 8GB version of Nook Tablet today. Targeted to compete directly with Amazon Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet 8GB has been priced at $199, the same price at which Fire is currently retailing. The 16GB version of Nook Tablet will continue to see for $249. On the other hand, Nook Color’s price has been reduced to just $169 now.
Nook Tablet in the 8GB version is immediately available and orderable on the official website Nook.com and authorized shops. The specifications are similar than the version already on the market by using the same 7-inch display, dual core processor with 1 GHz, 512MB of RAM (1GB for the 16GB version), 8 GB of memory, microSD slot and battery with a ' range of approximately 11 hours.
