HTC One XL and One S - Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update confirmed by Telstra

In recent days we have witnessed the release of a large number of custom HTC Rom's based on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) for some dedicated smartphones. Even if the community support has been nothing short warm it is questionable what will be the devices that will be officially updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean . The Taiwanese manufacturer has not yet decided, but in recent hours was the first confirmation  came that two HTC devices are in progress of receive the update: HTC One XL and One S. To communicate the interesting information is the Australian telecom operator Telstra.
The list of devices distributed by Telstra awaiting a software update also includes HTC One S and HTC One XL. For both devices the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is in progress:
HTC working on an update, but is yet to confirm the date from which Telstra will be done for testing
Even without an exact date, the upgrade would be questioned.
Remember that HTC One XL is the variant of HTC X One based on Qualcomm platform S4. Reasonable to assume, as we have already done , which is HTC X One, One D will be HTC Android 4.1 update to the Jelly Bean.
Waiting to know more details about the exact date of arrival of the update, the more impatient users may continue to keep under control the many custom Jelly Bean ROMs.
