CyanogenMod yesterday released the M2 version of their mod for Android, including more than 20 devices supported by the new release. All of these devices can then install the CyanogenMod 10.1 M2 and get a taste of Android 4.2.2, in many cases well before the release of the official manufacturer.

CyanogenMod 2.3.7 Android 7.2 RC1 available for 70 devices!
Good news for all fans of modified Cyanogen ROM. The team announced yesterday that it is available the Release Candidate (RC) of CyanogenMod 7.2, the set of unofficial updates, based on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. A vast number of Roma that spans about 70 different devices and allows for Android 2.3.7 on many smartphones that have not yet received an official level. Also greatly improves the speed of many devices that are not perfectly optimized.
Certainly a lot waiting for RC still not free from small bugs to report that the team calls when found. Being a RC however, can be used daily, without any particular problems, crash or bug relief.
