Ubuntu Smartphone will be available in October

Mark Shuttleworth, founder of Canonical interviewed by the Wall Street Journal has shared welcome news for all those who are intrigued by the new Ubunu smartphone. Mark Shuttleworth revealed that the output of the first smartphone with Ubuntu OS should come early at the end of this year. He spoken of Q4 and even October to see the marketing of the new Ubuntu smartphones.
Unfortunately, no accurate data has been provided and we talk about the two main markets for smartphones and thought surely goes to America and, hopefully, to Europe although there is no certainty at the time.

So, despite the development process is still in its infancy and applications, market and ecosystem face struggles to speak, in Canonical seem rather optimistic in their success. According to the Wall Street Journal, several carriers are interested in porting Ubuntu smartphone, but it's still unclear which ones Canonical will partner with.
