5 million Nexus 7 units to be shipped in 2012

When in June, Google introduced the Nexus 7 , the world wondered right away if a particular device that could detect the expected success.
After a few months of its launch is not clear how the first Nexus Tablet has been, and still is, a global success, thanks to a top of the range hardware sold at affordable price.
According to the Chinese and Taiwanese suppliers of Asus , by 2012 will be distributed at least 5 million Nexus 7 tablets  in the World. This represents a record for a Google device, placing the Nexus 7 in the first place, for now, one of the Google more successful products.

These numbers, however, are still on the increase given the recent price cut for the Wi-Fi version and the imminent arrival of 3G module version with 32 GB of on board memory, sold only for $299.
We are curious to know the estimates are also related to Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet, which are currently unavailable in most of the world due to excessive demand.
