Instagram broke the record of one million downloads made in less than 24 hours, smashing the record of Temple Run, which had scored the same number of downloads a little less than three days.
Kevin Systrom , Instagram CEO, told The New York Times that in some circumstances has exceeded the threshold of 2 000 records per minute .
The version of the application for Android devices is almost the same as the version for devices developed by Apple, but with minor differences mainly due to the graphical interface.
