Samsung Omnia W gets a 25% price cut in India, now cheaper than Lumia 710

Couple of months back, Nokia slashed the price of Lumia 710 in India to Rs. 15499. Back then, Lumia became the cheapest ever Windows Phone available in the Indian market.

The reason behind the price drop could be the steep competition from ‘brother from another mother’ called Samsung Omnia W I8350. Initially, both of the devices were launched with staggering Rs. 19500+ price tag.

The Windows Phone running Omnia W is now available for Rs 15,200 on Flipkart, about Rs 300 cheaper than the Lumia 710.
