Nokia is still leading in the amount of data traffic from mobile devices


StatCounter is always a useful resource for understanding the evolution of data traffic in the global mobile industry and the latest stats are very interesting.
So with the end of the first month of 2012, the famous analyst firm reported that from January 2011 to January 2012, the web traffic on mobile devices has grown again, seeing more and leader Nokia phones connected globally.
These are the words of Aodhan Cullen, CEO of StatCounter:
"Despite the use of the Internet through mobile phones and Smartphones are still less than 10%, the pace of growth is remarkable."
Apple dominates in the United Kingdom and the United States, but Nokia is behind in many markets. Nevertheless, countries where the overall Web browsing is made of 40% from mobile devices such as India, where Nokia was able to dominate sales, enabling the Finnish giant still be a leader in the field of mobile data traffic.
