Nokia warns Google : Nexus 7 violates our patents

The Nexus 7 has been a major news of the recent Google I / O and has the credentials to establish itself in the tablet market thanks to the excellent relationship between price and performance. The approach of the Nexus 7 to market, however, may be not without some difficulty. Suggesting that fact is Nokia  that has already denounced  the violation of certain patents owned by Google and Asus in the realization of the tablet .

As is known, the Finnish Company for some time is leveraging its substantial fleet patents,  trying to exploit them commercially licencing them. The Nexus 7 seems to be a fertile ground for Nokia to continue to pursue this strategy.

Nokia patented design for a new Window Phone smartphone

On March 13 at the USPTO (U.S. Patent and Trademark Office), Nokia has filed a patent regarding the design of a new smartphone. The registered design by the Finnish resembles other products already on the market, especially the C5-03 and the Lumia 710, but also an Windows Phone appeared long ago in a video (later removed)

Unfortunately we have no other information, but it is possible that Nokia may submit in the coming months a new Windows Phone exploiting this patent right has just been registered.
