Asus planing to bring the Padfone concept to Windows 8 and Windows Phone

Asus has unveiled today its interest in the Windows Phone segment . In an interview with the Wall Street Journal , the Asus Vice President of Mobile Communication,  Benson Lin, was explicitly declared this intention, although there is no precise timing.

5 million Nexus 7 units to be shipped in 2012

When in June, Google introduced the Nexus 7 , the world wondered right away if a particular device that could detect the expected success.

Asus Padfone 2 smartphone will make a debut on October 16

Apparently the debut of the Asus Padfone 2 is closer than one might imagine at first. In fact, about two months after the launch of the first product in Europe, the Taiwanese company revealed that the upcoming Padfone 2 will be unveiled on October 16 and presented in an events that will be held in Taipei and at the same time also in Milan.

Nokia warns Google : Nexus 7 violates our patents

The Nexus 7 has been a major news of the recent Google I / O and has the credentials to establish itself in the tablet market thanks to the excellent relationship between price and performance. The approach of the Nexus 7 to market, however, may be not without some difficulty. Suggesting that fact is Nokia  that has already denounced  the violation of certain patents owned by Google and Asus in the realization of the tablet .

As is known, the Finnish Company for some time is leveraging its substantial fleet patents,  trying to exploit them commercially licencing them. The Nexus 7 seems to be a fertile ground for Nokia to continue to pursue this strategy.

Asus and Google ready to launch 600,000 tablets in June?

It seems that it won't to long till the launch of Google's own tablet according to the latest rumors.Google and its partner Asus now seems are almost ready to launch on the market its first tablet with the Google Experience and presumably with a diagonal 7 inches to enter into direct competition with the Kindle Fire . The rumors and speculation are that the initial 600,000 units of the alleged Nexus tablet will be ready to be released in the market in July.
