Nokia 808 PureView - An unexpected success,Nokia promises to increase production

Nokia symbian smartphone

The sales of Nokia 808 PureView was characterized by an initial delays and small number of countries availability. The smartphone has begun to reach store shelves on a large scale only in the month of June, giving in some cases not so easy to make the purchase for the ordinary customer.
Despite these circumstances, the demand of the Nokia 808 PureView is high  so as to suggest the company will increase production. Tapani Kaskinen, communications manager of Nokia, has recently confirmed that the company has underestimated the actual demand for the cameraphone, apparently mistakenly seen by some as a mere exercise in style created by Nokia, waiting for the technology PureView on the Lumia range.

New widgets coming to Nokia Belle?

An interesting common signaling network in the past few hours to reflect on the possible extension of the set of widgets available in Nokia Belle, the latest release of the operating system for smartphones that Nokia, a few days, has also reached the previous device Symbian ^ 3 / Anna. The representation of additional widget would be contained in a small banner that leads to the site of Nokia.pl.In the picture posted above you can see new widgets located in the home screen.

The original image attracts attention thanks to the various widgets in the home:
The widget would include an identifiable dedicated to maps , to a forecast , to a galleryand several widgets to manage social networks . In the last home on the right you can also see the widget dedicated to Skype .
It could be a simple creation of graphs that have made the banner or the actual expansion of the range of widgets available for the operating system Nokia Belle.
Recall that users have a device with hacks can already install the widgets that were present in previous builds fine with the packet that was distributed in recent days.
We hope that Nokia will offer the opportunity to expand the set of widgets also to those who can not or will not do the hack of the device.

Rumor: Nokia 808 pure view to have dual core processors

Apparently the Nokia 808 PureView might have Dual Core according to a tipster on nokiapoweruser. It would be very interesting to see how Symbian performs with even more power under the hood, given how optimized it is on Belle and 1GHz.
What the source has revealed is very good news and may be many were expecting the same. They say that
  • N8 successor aka 808 pure view will have two processor cores(Dual core)
  • It will have Lumia 900′s design language, which effectively means that it will have Polycarbonate unibody but the screen will not be curved.
  • N9 like display where icons seems to float on the surface.
Now if we analyse the dual core info, it seems somewhat relevant because of two reasons,
  •  1080P video recording, which probably needs dual core processing power in case of Symbian’s ARM processors.Though as per I know 1080P can be achieved by high performance single core and GPU combo as well.
  • Symbian Donna next to Carla and supposedly final iteration of Symbian is supposed to be compatible with only dual core devices. And it seems impossible that 808 will not get Donna as an update.
