Samsung officially announces Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S2SAm coming at March 10!



The wait is finally over! Samsung has officially announced a few hours the availability of updates to Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S2 from next March 10  and that is tomorrow, all the confirming previous rumors from the recent days.
Here are some some of the improvements that the update will bring on Galaxy S2.
  • Unlock Android Face and Beam.
  • Mobile Data Network to monitor data traffic.
  • Improved multitasking and general responsiveness.

Samsung is keen to point out that due to some incompatibility of Android 4.0, Adobe Flashand support for Bluetooth 3.0 HS will not initially be supported after the release of (only Bluetooth 3.0).
The update package will be released via FOTA or through Kies 2.0 and Samsung should have at least 350MB of free space on your phone. Obviously tomorrow is the start of the Roll-Out and it is said to be made available in all markets. Surely ROMs odin will be published shortly in the hope that even in Italy, however, can come quickly.

Samsung Galaxy S 2: Android 4.0 Ice Cream will be released on March 15


After hearing rumors of an arrival of the ICS for Samsung Galaxy SII at the begging of March ,now finally an official announcement by Samsung was released: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Samsung Galaxy S 2 will arrive on March 15 .

The news was announced by Samsung Mobile Israel , which issued a statement on his official Facebook page saying that the roll out of Ice Cream Sandwich will start from mid-March. Without doubt this is an incredibly beautiful story, but most users Galaxy S II will continue to wait , at least until Samsung will announce a roll out to other areas of the world.
