eBuddy XMS Beta is available for Symbian and S40 Nokia devices



The Nokia Beta Labs have released the day today the beta version of eBuddy XMS for Symbian and S40. This is a dedicated instant messaging client that acts as a potential alternative to the even more widespread and popular WhatsApp. The application is characterized by the support to the real-time messaging, taking advantage of the push notifications . The application already available on MeeGo and Windows Phone devices, allows the exchange of text messages and photos with your contacts, in addition to supporting a group chat with up to 30 participants . 
As a reminder that the name is related to the client platform eBuddy eBuddy messenger has been a good match between the holders of a Symbian devices with over 150,000 downloads. The Nokia Beta Labs aim to further improve the user experience, trying to produce a viable alternative to the popular WhatsApp messenger.eBuddy XMS is available not only for Nokia smartphones, but also for major mobile platforms (including Android, BlackBerry and iPhone OS).
