LG announces L3, L5 and L7 Android smartphones

Looks like LG wants the world to know that they have big things lined up at MWC this year as they are showing their cards before the main event hits prime time. After the launch of the Optimus Vu and Optimus Tag, today has released a new series of Android devices called the ‘L’ series. Earlier in day, we had reported on the possible release of an LG handset with letter ‘L’ and here is is. The series includes three devices – The 4.3-inch L7, 4-inch L5 and the 3.2-inch L3.
The main USP behind these devices is their ‘ floating mass display’ technology, which is an indicator to the actual distance between the display and the glass on top or the lack of it.  LG believes that these handsets will feel thinner than their actual form factor. The L7 and L5 are slated for release in the first half of this year and will run Android 4.0 ICS out of the box, while the L3 will be released in Europe in March and will run Android 2.3.
