Kindle Fire is on Fire, has become the most popular Android tablet
Few may have envisioned that an ultra-cheap tablet sold by the most popular online retailer in the world would be successful. And yet Amazon's Kindle Fire finds itself in just such a situation, according to estimates from analysts Kindle Fire’s share at 35.7%, a margin of a percentage point above the Samsung Galaxy Tab which accounted for 35.6% of the market.
Also analyst estimate that 6 million Kindle Fire tablets have been sold, which puts it right on par with the rate of sales of Apple's first iPad. That is a pretty good level to match.
