Sony confirms the new Xperia SL: 12 mpx camera, 50GB Box free cloud space and Android ICS

Sony confirms the rumors that have circulated on the net these days about their new device,the Sony Xperia SL . It is an extremely powerful smartphone that is to take the place of the Sony Xperia S , from which it inherits some design and technical specifications. Inherits the same processor even though slightly overclocked to 1.7 GHz , from the on Xperia S which operates at 1.5 GHz.

Xperia S Launcher now available for all Android smartphones

If you are a fan of alternative launcher and want to experience on your smartphone Xperia S, XDA comes with a comprehensive suite that allows you to install the home of the Xperia S on nearly all resolutions and all Android devices. Installation is easy and you must have Android Gingerbread or higher (including ICS).

PlayStation Store available for Sony Xperia S

Sony has finally enable PlayStation Store support for Sony Xperia S, initially delayed because of the timing too tight to avoid delaying the launch.PlayStation Store is now available for Xperia s including Pocket PS application.Currently within the PlayStation Store you can find about a dozen games, access to the catalog of console games, see videos and trailers, and more after entering your data to network-related or Sony PlayStation Network Account.

Sony plans to expand the list of games in the PlayStation Store in the coming months and to equip all of its devices that come out during the year (including the new Xperia Sun ) with the certification mark and immediate access to the store.

Sony Xperia S is the first smartphone from the japanese manufacturer branded as Sony after its departure from Ericsson. The Xperia S will be released on March 5th with a price tag of 499 euros.
