Samsung to sell 390 million smartphones in 2013, main driver will the Galaxy S IV

Samsung does not seem to want to stop, even after having recorded the best results in its history this 2012 , thanks to record sales of its Android powered Galaxy family.

According to a source at the Korea Times, the Korean company in 2012 plans to further increase its market share thanks to the next Galaxy S IV , the flagship smartphone that will be submitted by the middle of next year.

Phones placed on the market by the Korean giant will be over half a billion, of which 390 million will be smartphones. Not all, but almost the most part, will be Android, even if a small part will be also characterized by devices Windows Phone 8.

Analyzing the 2011, Samsung has placed on the market 97 million smartphones compared to 23 million last year.

It is impressive to see how in just three years, the growth has achieved a production as well as 370 million smartphones more.

The largest number of these terminals will be produced in Vietnam (about 240 million), 170 million in China, 20 million in India and over 40 million in homeland, South Korea
